Limited editions are a big part of how heated tobacco brands keep their lineups interesting, and the TEREA Scarlet Edition is a good example. Developed for the Indonesian market, it takes a regional taste of clove and pairs it with a fruity, spiced finish.

What Is TEREA Scarlet Edition?

TEREA Scarlet Edition is a tobacco stick made for the IQOS ILUMA range. It is not a standalone device. It is a consumable that works only with ILUMA-series holders.

The Flavor Profile

Scarlet is built around Indonesian clove, which gives it a warm, sweet, and slightly spicy base. According to IQOS, this is enriched with red fruit aroma and a touch of cinnamon, aiming for a balance between the fruitiness and the clove.

Compared with a straightforward tobacco or menthol stick, this one is aromatic and mellow rather than sharp or cooling. If you prefer a fresher profile, the companion release, TEREA Minago Edition, pairs clove with cold menthol and green, minty notes instead.

Device Compatibility

TEREA sticks use induction heating, so they won't work in older IQOS holders. Scarlet Edition is compatible with:

IQOS ILUMA
IQOS ILUMA i
IQOS ILUMA i Prime
IQOS ILUMA i One

If you own an earlier IQOS model that uses HEETS or other sticks, Scarlet will not fit or heat properly.

Regional Availability and Buying Tips

Scarlet Edition is an Indonesian release, so it is sold officially there through IQOS stores and the IQOS website, with an age requirement of 21+. Many online sellers in other countries list it as an import, and their descriptions are often inconsistent, so treat third-party claims with caution.

Before buying, check:

Local laws: Rules on selling, importing, and advertising heated tobacco vary widely by country, and some prohibit it entirely.
Authenticity: Buy from authorized retailers where possible, since counterfeit tobacco products are a real risk.
Availability: Limited editions can sell out and may not return.

Health and Age Notice

TEREA Scarlet Edition contains tobacco and delivers nicotine, which is addictive. Heated tobacco products are not risk-free, and no tobacco product is a safe choice. This product is intended only for adults who already use nicotine. If you don't currently use nicotine, don't start, and if you want to quit, a doctor or local cessation service can help.

The Bottom Line

TEREA Scarlet Edition is a clove-led, fruit-and-spice stick for ILUMA users who want something more aromatic than a standard tobacco or menthol option. Just make sure you have a compatible device, buy from a legitimate source, and check that it is legal where you live.
